Community Action Wayne/Medina Moves Medina Office

Community Action Wayne/Medina (CAW/M), is moving its Medina service office to expanded space at 799 North Court Street, Medina. CAW/M’s public entrance will be next to St. George Church. The office will be closed on moving day, Wednesday, Oct. 26.

“The North Court Street site provides a much more inviting environment for families and individuals who receive services supporting them in self-sufficiency,” said Melissa Pearce, President/CEO. “We look forward to operating in a more accessible location that is central to other businesses and public transportation.”

Serving the community for 50 years, the agency’s new location will enhance CAW/M’s environment of service delivery as it continues to advance its mission that the quality of life for the people served is improved by supporting their self-sufficiency, improving their living conditions, providing early childhood education and leveraging community partnerships to support these positive impacts.

Founded in 1966 as an anti-poverty agency, CAW/M’s two-generational approach to solutions focuses on family involvement and household stability. This comprehensive program goes much beyond traditional education, embracing the well-being of pregnant women and children from birth to five years through a holistic approach encompassing physical, mental and emotional health for the entire family. CAW/M operates four preschool sites in Medina County, all with the maximum five-star Step Up to Quality rating.
